Cotto would kill Morales because he is just too big. He would use his boxing skill and take apart Gatti. Mickey Ward had Gatti in series trouble for God's sake. De la Hoya, in his prime, would give him trouble because people forget De la Hoya is almost 6', fast hands, and some decent pop. I think Golden Boy would win by close decision. The De la Hoya that fought Pac-Man or Mayweather would have been destroyed by Cotto and Mosely too.

Good post!!!! I think DLH/Cotto would have also been close, but I do see Cotto winning.

And to best of my knowledge speed and power still matter in boxing. The 90's were not 100 years ago, but you wouldn't know it by taking a look at today's boxers. All weight divisions, not just the welterweight division, seem to be producing top level physical athletes with great boxing skill- that's the point. And if De La Hoya were in his prime and fought today's welterweights he would have as tough a time as anybody. De La Hoya was no Mike Tyson during his day; I hope we can at least admit that.
              LOL HAHAHAHAHA

The 90's early 2000 WW division > Current WW division. You say the current fighters are bigger at 147 but i don't buy it. Show me how they are bigger? Even if they are does that mean Tito/Pernel/DLH/SSM/Ike/ would also be bigger and faster in today's game if they where in their prime?

Dude physical phenoms are you kidding me? Break it all down and i bet you don't believe the bull**** that is coming out of your mouth. Tito/Pernel/DLH/SSM/Ike/ own all these cats and only Mayweather can stand a chance against those prime fighters at 147.

I mean with Marg there was the plaster matter (that we do not know about), and with Clottey there was the cut. So I guess we will really see where Cotto stands on Nov 14th.

Just FYI, I am not saying that he blows Erik Morales, Gatti and ODLH out of the water. We all know they have certain areas where they excel over Cotto, but overall Cotto IS better.

This is just ******. Seriously. You dont make any valid reason for your claim. All you did was say he is better, drop names, and thats it. GTFO. Cotto isn't better than any of them. Just because Cotto is bigger, doesn't mean ****.

When Pacquiao KHTFO, then come back to this thread and say your sorry.

Pime for Prime, Hoya would kill Cotto. If a prime Cotto could barely beat an older Mosley. I wonder what a prime Mosley would have done. The one who through combo's and showed great footwork. I believe Cotto can become great with a win over Pac. He is better than Gatti. But Morales might have him pimp

what a ****** asss post followed by a ****** asss response by the TS who made a ****** asss thread.

of course cotto beats morales. he's just so much bigger. morales is a career featherweight cotto a juniorwelter/welter. Does that mean he's better?

cotto could obliterate salvador sanchez & ricardo lopez. does that mean he's better than them?

red k for ****** asss thread.

Very Funny!!! Maybe in the "getting vacant belts" department on Oscar or Erik. Gatti, yea he's better.......at least you're not a complete ******.
