Evander may not be the "real deal" holyfield of yester year but 7 figure payday for a person that is 87 years old is the actual "real deal" for him. I guess the attorney gen of georgia is thinking about hitting him up for more child support $$$ and his other mansions must be up for foreclosure.. again, him and Roy jones won't ever be out the boxing spotlight,

I think Holyfield will box on into old age...

I can see him hobbling down to the ring on a walker trying to get one last shot at the title!

I think him and Tyson should just do one more fight, yes it would be a joke, but AT LEAST it would be a big payday, and you know it would, and then maybe they could retire!

Holyfield is going to end up like Ali. He is going to take a serious beating eventually. Even though Holyfield was my favorite fighter thoughout the ninties, i won't feal bad for him when he does end up like Ali because he is doing this to himself, common sense should have told him to retire after the Ruiz trilogy.

I'll have to see it before I believe it. I never thought the fight/exhibition would be realised, and I don't think it will be realised in September.

Who is going to pay that money? Seven figures for Holyfield AND money for the battle against AIDS? I haven't heard of any tv being interested in Holyfield fighting an ethiopean lightheavy.

I doubt it.Ali already had Parkinsons by 38.

Evander is 46 and is still going hard. And a more serious beating than he already got yester year I doubt he will take.

He is fighting for the money obviously.

If Hoyfield would have managed all of the millions and millions he made in his career properly, he wouldn't have to continue fighting at 46. It's simply ridiculous. He's lucky he hasn't been seriously hurt from all of the wars he's had over the years.

                    I agree.

But first......we need to win a 5th HW title and become the oldest HW champ in history(already did it in december but got robbed).

                    GO HOLY!
