cotto can hurt manny in any round, as oppose to pac who might have to accumulate his punishment to score a tko/ko

Cotto can move around and box. The last time PAC fought a guy that can really box he went through hell to win a SD that a lot of people thought he lost.

To go along with his boxing skills, Cotto also has a good jab and a size/strength advantage.

I have Cotto winning by stoppage.

A lot of the Pac dominating/early KOing cotto comes from the tidal wave of hype hes riding. I think if cotto never lost to margarito this fight proably never happens. Roach/Pac are banking on Cotto being damaged goods.

Were talking about two very good fighters with both having a chance to pull out a win. Its is and isn't as deep as people put it. Not deep because its basically a re-run of speed vs. power. Sometimes power wins sometimes speed. Deep because it is difficult to pick a winner even if you dissect the crap out of it. For the hardcore fans that are Filipino or Puerto Rican ..we stand by our guy.

It also wouldn't shock me if the size and strengh difference was indeed too much and Cotto just walked Pac down and really punished him.

Those are the two most extreme cases of the possible outcomes, yet both seem entirely plausible. I feel like that's extremely rare.
You're right homey. IMO, it's 1 or the other. Pac is too quick to be touched by Cotto and owns him, or Cotto is just too damn big and KO's him.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, Floyd and JMM are the only fighters i can see beating Pac

I respect Cotto for the great champion he is but Pac is too much for him, he's going to be moving back late in the fight and i see Pac finishing him, thats where the stamina and counterpunching skills of Floyd and JMM come into play and Cotto doesn't possess them in the same quality IMO

This one will be a war for about 10 rounds though

I think the longer the fight goes the more it goes into cottos favor. I know paq has great stamina but cottos power will take it toll on paq as the fight progresses and more punches are landed. It will definatley affect his speed and thats pacs best asset in this fight.

Honestly, as a Cotto fan for years, I feel like Cotto can accumulate the punishment as well, especially to the body. However, after watching the Hatton-Pac fight, I'd say it's possible for Manny to hurt Cotto in any round as well. Although I do think it would be much more difficult because Cotto doesn't charge in with his hands down in florida.

It really can go either way. LET'S GO COTTO!!!

Very true...The logical part of my brain says Cotto is just to young big and strong for Pac...but then Pac is a supremely confident fighter right now...Miguel still might have some demons in his head.

If Cotto can walk Pac down it's over.

If Pac can pot shot Cotto it's over.

I believe that it will be something in the middle...still anything can happen...I can't wait till November.

Nope. you only say that because obviously you are a mayweather fan and 2 you need to hype JMM because he is fighting FLoyd.
