Carl Froch Unloads Venom on "Boring" Amir Khan

Froch is the most grumpy ass fighter ever, and if khan went in there and swung wildly at kotelnik he would have got slaughtered by the press saying he hasnt learnt a thing.

Khan did what he needed to do, showed he can fight at world level, showed he can move and be smart and showed he can take the odd tap or 2 at welterweight, ok not the most exciting fight ever, but still a well earned dominant display in its own right.

Sounds like misquoting to me, I reckon Carl prob gave Amir his props but at the same time said the fight was boring as ****, probably because it was a PPV event which shouldn't have really been PPV. If Khan don't start taking on proper LWW's then I ain't buying another one of his fights, I would prob pay for Khan-Maidana though. His new defensive/don't let anyone even get close to touching my chin style is boring as **** though and don't see him continuing to make PPV money unless he really takes on the top guys at LWW. Especially as he now has .David Haye as a rival on Sky Box Office.

Froch is the meanest dude in boxing, lol. One week he's all kool, wishing Khan good luck in his title shot, then the next week...

A bit rich coming from a guy who holds his own hands lower than thigh-height (cringeworthingly so), and telegraphs all of his punches worse than any world champion in boxing right now.

Not to mention that his fights aren't exactly breathtaking, either - Taylor was making him look silly for those first 10 rounds, and most of his other showcases have been flat-footed borefests with an accumulation stoppage.

With Khan, there's at least fast-paced action most of the time, along with that edge-of-your-seat anticipation of him getting sparked out. That's already better than what Froch brings to the ring IMO.

Seems froch is just sour that Khan is making the money, and Frochs SMW Tourny is virtually unheard of in the UK

I agree. The sport needs "bad guys" to keep things entertaining. That's why a sport like pro-'wrasslin which is manufactured for pure entertainment uses the formula of always matching the good guys vs bad guys.

Besides, I don't think Froch is a malicious person or anything. Instead he and others generally do it to attract attention in order to promote themselves and it shouldn't be taken to heart.

froch is speaking truth at least imo and i'm starting to really like him for it ... i like defensive fighters and khan clearly outboxed kotelnik, it was a good win but it wasnt entertaining at all ... khan ran and pitty patted kotelniks gaurd all night and looked scared ****less to get tagged by the feather fisted kotelnik. khans young and is settling into his style so in the future he may be alittle more interesting to watch, but for me as of now i am def not a fan ...

If I was Froch, I would be pissed too. Froch is 32 and no one knows who the **** he is, except Boxing fans and people from his hometown. Man can't even get any TV channels to show his fight live when he fought Taylor, whilst this kid Amir can pack out large arena's and has lots of TV exposure.

This is typical of all Hennessy fighters, they are desperate. Froch was bitter and obsessed with Slappy and Witter was obsessed with Hatton. Is it anyones fault, their Promoter can't promote properly? Witter once sold only 14 tickets for a fight lol according to Warren.
