He should fight Paul Williams. Him beating Winky doesn't mean **** now honestly.

He's also fighting in a **** division similar to what Bernard was fighting in before he went on to fight the Titos, Jermains, Winkys (then), etc.

Pav's best days may be ahead of him, but no need to jump down dude's throat. He's only got 1 loss on his record to one of the greats in the last 20 years. Sue him I guess...

I like Pavlik, he's got a lot of guts and of course power. But not just that, he is a complete fighter. That's why he beat Jermain Taylor twice. Taylor was at the peak of his career then and very few thought he can be beaten, especially by some white "kid" from Youngstown. I just hope he fights someone noteworthy soon. He was supposed to fight in June or July I believe, but that got cancelled. Anybody know why?

I don't think he needs Winky.. If anything Winky needs him.

The 2 fights i'm looking forward to for Pavlik would be Williams and Sturm.
I mean if he wants to stay the Middleweight Champion instead of moving up in weight than his most important match is a unification, especially since Abraham vacated his belt. I figure they might as well unify before there's another 3rd champ at the weight.

But Paul Williams wouldn't be too bad a fight either. The only problem I got with that fight is, Pavlik used to talk **** on B-Hop fighting smaller oppenents his whole career, than this dude goes ahead and not only gets beat up by B-Hop but afterward, the only people he is calling out are all smaller than him... That or just C Class opposition.

But because Williams is campaigning at 147-168, and he has the physical attributes, I think that would be one hell of a fight for the American Fans.

I lost some respect for Pavlik after some of teh comments he made.

First he never gave bhop any credit, always had some sort of excuse as to why he lost, even went as far as saying that bhop wasn't doing anything special, etc. That refusal to accept defeat drops him down a few notches imo, not too mention it makes him a worse fighter (using excuses and convincing yourself you lost because of those excuses will never make you a better fighter!).

Then his comments of the Super Six tournament were just ridiculous and he came off like a real *******.

I hope he gets his **** together cuz I did like the guy. Now I'm not so sure.

I don't care about him taking an easy fight or two after losing badly, it's not like he would be the first to do it. But he needs to just fight Paul Williams or Felix sturm or winky. Those are the only fights left at 160 anyways. He needs to do that and win so people can be excited about him again. As of right now no one gives a **** besides his hometown. He needs to get in the ring and win impressively. Fuuck money, do it for legacy.
