  • why do fighters who have no drawing power,,and price themselves out

claim people are ducking them???i see why williams gets no fights..he wants more then he's worth..pricing yourself out isnt the same as being ducked

The fighter most guilty of this is Winky Wright. The bloke has pissed away the last 2 years of his career thinking he's due more than he actually is.

I agree.. However in the situation of the Williams/Pavlik fight. I honestly think Team Williams is smart enough to realize this is a great opportunity for them. I'd really be shocked if they passed on this for a slightly better cut.

Paul should take the short end of the stick and fight Kelly, it gives him negotiating power in the future

That I'll never understand, Winky was living in this fantasy world. He could have done so much more, too bad. Also I've heard Paul was offered 1.5m to face Pavlik, I don't know what to make of that. WATA!

Pwill belongs at 154. Pavlik would KO him anyway.

True. I love Winky as a fighter, but I didn't like his selfpitying statements. "Nobody wants to fight me, poor me!" Get a grip my friend. Instead of waiting for the BIG fight and payday, you should've done what most other great fighters do-take a tune-up fight. Instead you took a 21-month layoff and ruined yourself.
