the thing is, if no network picks up the fight (i.e. HBO Sho or vs) or even bids it close to what the promoters want, then there will be no "free" airing.

same reason alot of Top Rank's cards are PPV, because no network buys them and they depend on fans to pick up the tab in order to pay for the fighters...

its pretty simple actually...

roy was finished anyway. shame calzaghe never stepped in the ring with glen johnson. he pulled out 3 times of the fight. And never had no interest in fighting glen!
