I know people will say this fight is meaningless but even though it would have been better a few years back...it's better late than never. It's also the only fight that would make sense for either fighter since I cant see any big names for Roy to face, and any big names for hopkins to face.

Roy as an option for Bernard>>>>>Ademek and Dawson.

Hopkins as an option for Roy>>>>Jermaine Taylor or any HW fight.

This also can be a retirement fight for both. What better way to go out than together. Two legends that used each other to jump start their careers.

It never happened due to Roy being to caught up in his superstar status at the time. Roy has a lot more humility this time around. Anyway Dawson vs Hopkins will be boring as hell as both are laid back counter punchers. Now I don't Roy vs Hopkins will be a barn burner...but the trash talking and pre fight antics will be classic. Roy would put on a good performance since Hopkins isnt the type to overwhelm you and Bhop is Bhop.
