If there was ever one man who deserved a violent death less than Forrest, I can't think of him.....

    R.I.P. Vernon.

    We miss you already.

My thoughts are with his family.

      For real.

Arguello was before my time watching this sport. So I never saw him live, but I became a fan years after the fact around the mid 90's.

Gatti was during my time. I was never a fan, but I respected him and I wished him nothing but the best in retirement.

Forrest was a favorite of mine of the last generation. I remember talking with a lot of Forrest fans on here about how his career could have gone without the injuries, setbacks, and Mayorga.

With those 3 losses coming back to back, I feel like a boxer trapped on the ropes right about now.

I'm just hoping we make it out of the rest of this year without anymore tragic losses.

I was a huge Forrest fan, tbh his death was disheartening. I supported him in all of his fights, and I am happy he beat the hell out of Mora in his last fight. R.I.P. warrior.

          I feel 'ya, bully.

I've been watching Forrest fights for the last 3 hours with the sound down while listening to some music.

I'm bummed out about this, badly.

Rest in peace, Champ; you were a class act in and outside of the ring and you will be missed...
