Rubillar was getting the **** beaten out of him and barely throwing back any punches, but Koncz was not a cornerman or a ref. He needs to mind is own.

if this is true, there is enough reason why koncz should be hanged upside down by the pinoy fans. koncz should not wander in the philippines for that interference, at least a year or two, or when the emotional pinoys already accept defeat. just imagine a complete stranger throwing in the towel in a fight. koncz may have his own reason, but whatever it is, he has no right whatsoever to meddle in the affairs of another.

but rubillar should stop fighting. the man has been beaten badly. rubillar was outclassed, and outbox by a better fighter. rubillar's handlers should send him home and hang his gloves for good.

it sounds ridiculous though, that a cornerman of rubillar believe their man has the chance to win. rubillar was beaten from round 1 until the ref stopped the fight. no way he would win against a world-class fighter.

Did anyone else find this article hard to read?

I am trying to understand the part where Penalosa gave Koncz his share of the commission.

The circumstances of the last minute fill in, and Jaro's visa denial seem to me to be very unprofessional.

Yeah, he was beaten from round 1 to 6 but do you think he can not move on until 12 rounds??? Going to 7 to 12 rounds more makes so early to conclude the result from 6 rounds! I think if he was still capable to move on to full 12rounds either win or lose, the stoppage from a person not in his corner should be treated illegal!

This is how the US Embassy works in the Philippines and isn't unprofessional if they works in line to their own SOP! Even Government Officials could hardly obtain this visa regardless how necessary their travels to abroad.
