Wouldnt it be interesting if Joe had said he was better than Haye? What would happen if Haye called the bluff?
Why didnt Calzaghe say he's better than David Haye?

Well thats easy...Joe would come out of retirement Both would train like animals for the fight Haye would wait till around 2 weeks off the clash and then pull out.... -

I'm a big fan of Calzaghe but at HW Haye would Knock him the **** out of Calzaghe, Calzaghe isn't a big hittter at Super Middleweight so would carry no power at HW and got knocked down against older LHW's in Jones/Hopkins so I seriously hope he isn't thinking about coming back and trying to fight for a HW title cos he would have to show an all time high punch output to beat V.Klit/W.Klit/Haye/Valuev and run the risk of taking a clean shot against someone at least 50 pounds heavier than he's ever faced before.
In my opinion he's missed his chance of ever coming back now cos Froch is in the Super Six SMW Tournament and the Dawson hype has totally died down since his pathetic performance against Tarver (II). Don't even think about taking on the top Heavyweights cos even though people say they are ****/boring, they are big men who know how to keep little men at bay and at least easily outpoint them, there is currently no John Ruiz type champ for you to do an RJJ on.Comment

That's news to me?
I know Haye has a fair amount of respect for Calzaghe, but i don't think i've ever heard Calzaghe mutter a word about Haye, apart from seeing Calzaghe at the Enzo Macaroni 'n' cheese - David Haye fight in London a few years ago.Comment
