and they score that fight 116-110.
That scorecard is impossible if you score 9-3 is always 117-111 and
cuz of first round knockdown can only be 116-111.

Those would be idiots, but the fight was close... if it had been Clottey winning by a point, there probably shouldn't have been any complaints anyway... close fight that could have had either guy winning by a point IMO, but it was quite clear Cotto won... hard to explain I know it doesn't make sense.

Could have gone either way, watched the fight a few times since, first time I scored it 115-112 Cotto, 2nd time scored it 114-113 Clottey but in my final watching I scored it 114-113 Cotto. Was just one of those fights that could have gone either way although the judge who gave it 116-111 Cotto was obviously biased. Was very similar to the Cotto-Mosley bout although Clottey didn't quite accept his loss in the same way as Shane did

According to Ring mag, most press have Clotttey winning but Ring has it 115-113 for Cotto.

You guys have to realize.. You win rounds.. and that is how you win the fight..

Even if you out land your opponent 75-10 on average in each of 5 rounds.. but the other 7 he out lands you on average 35-25 ..Guess what?? He wins..

Even though you are going to have much better punch stats over all..
