man dont even bother listening to these spoiled little white kids.

these kids live in gated communitys, they dont know how its like to have to protect yourself and the **** u claim. they dont understand that if u hand **** over and show weakness u will get jacked to the point where u die from starvation.

I had to stop becasue I couldnt beleive what I was reading with some fo the cats. My family is from Gary, Indiana. It's hell of ruff out there. My great Grandma (RIP), UNCLES, Aunts, and cousins all carry guns in there car and at home. You can be 18 out there to get one. That should tell you how hard some of these cities are. In Vegas, it's not as bad as Gary. But there are alot of haters, theft, and other **** like that. You always have to watch your back.

Don't be so quick to judge. The only fact we know is that Vernon Forrest is dead. I'm always dissapointed on how quick we throw away somebody's good attributes and try to make them into some crazy negativity. If you look up Vernon Forrest's charity Destiny's Child you will know how good of a person Vernon was. RIP Champ.

No doubt Vernon was one of boxings good guys.....Why can't one of these boxers thats talks alot about their "money" get shot? hint hint....j/k

But who did he protect? He got himself killed and left his girlfriend's son vulnerable to the attackers, if they wanted to kill the kid, they would have done. They didn't. Why? Because all they probably wanted was a Jaguar and not to kill someone. Vernon could have protected his girlfriend's son and himself by standing aside, and letting them get off with the car. Then go to the police, get them to hunt down the car and the people who did it. Of course without the full facts being present this is speculation. I just think carrying a gun is more of a liability than protection, to me it sounds in this instance that Vernon pulling a gun is what triggered (no pun intended) the attackers to shoot back because at that point the attackers are thinking about their own lives and protecting themselves. Where as if Vernon didn't have a gun they might have just driven off in his Jaguar (the reason they instigated the attack if reports are to be believed) leaving Vernon and the kid unharmed.


Anyway, I hope they both get caught and get a life sentences.

You are from england. You obviously dont know anything between cops and african americans. There are many reason why african americans dont go to the cops and try to handle themselves. Forget the car, everyone's so focused on "Oh, he was protetcing his car and his ****...." and remember, their was a CHILD in the car. That takes precedence over the car and Vernon didn't do any favors to the kid by going G.I. Joe on the carjackers and trying to chase 'em......

Maybe he was trying to draw the criminals attention away from his child and thought he would chase them as far away as possible from his kid so his wife could drive away with the kid to safety.

Don't be so negative towards a good human being who recently passed. You weren't there so no need for this.
