Pac won a close decision stop crying. Barrera's a great fighter, how many other fighters have ko'd him? Fighters can fight to not be ko'd. He's a 2 handed fighter now, his power seems to have increased, his combinations are sharper, his accuracy is better, his footwork and defense have come along way. He can attack with both hands now. He's learned to box to set up punches, etc. He's gotten better period.

To a small extent maybe. Pop in the tape for the first Barrera fight n then the Oscar fight. Tellin me it's the same guy? Footwork far better, head movement far better. He's not just a jab, jab straight left hand anymore. He can throw sharp, crisp, accurate 4-5 punch combo's. He almost looks like he's gotten faster going up. His power has increased if anything. He attacks at more angle. He's a lot more accurate now. I'm not saying the guy isn't beatable, everyone is...but to say he isn't BY FAR AND AWAY the most improved boxer in the last 6 years theres something seriously wrong with you.

At the end of the day this time last year Pac was at 130 and anyone that mentioned Pac fighting Cotto thought it to be suicidal. Fast forward 1 year and Pac is more than a 2-1 favourite? Yeah I guess he hasn't gotten better guys he's gotten worse :s

I believe he meant diminishing his character and achievements and not his actual boxing skills.

Roach was of a belief shared by many that Pacquiao could have stopped Barrera when they met in October. But while Pacquiao did enough to win by a comfortable margin on the scorecards, he didn’t come close to putting Barrera away.

The trainer couldn’t understand it, because Pacquiao has always had a great killer instinct, so he approached him about it.

“He said to me, ‘Coach, he’s a legend and he’s getting old and I didn’t want to embarrass him,’ ” Roach said.

There is something seriously wrong with me but its not my analysis of Packy.

He is somewhat improved, but not much. I attribute this perception of alleged "improvement" to Arum's clever matchmaking,HBO's hype machine and recent weak line of opponents.

We're stopping it this right here since we're clearly worlds apart. Weak line of opponents? Find me a better resume in the last 6 years. Find me a resume with a fighter being questioned or the underdog more and coming out on top. Find me a fighter who's moved in weight as much in the last 6 years and been as successful. Find me another....I could go on but you catch my drift.

Well if that's the case then it's a matter of opinion and to each his own. Greatest fighter of all time no doubt but a complete failure as a human being imo. Much rather prefer the likes of a martin luther king or winston churchill or nelson mandela in choosing a hero than a wife beater.

Not impressive considering the catchweight to drain Oscar, the weak paper champion Diaz and the crappy Hatton who was an "attraction" but a terrible fighter.

His resume before was good, but most people had him losing both fights w/ JMM, he lost to Morales and was behind on all cards int he rematch w/ a clearly faded EM as well.

And he stunk it out against an old Barrera in the rematch.

                    Sorry, no sale for me.

its sad to see Jay sounding like another version of xcaret

the hate is so over the top that it almost sounds fake...you hate pacquiao, we get it...the repetition and the rearview opinions aren't original and have that 'hey take a look at me, im a jackass' feel to it

its even got to the point that you're the first person to agree with a troll on a troll thread
