  • ANTONIO MARGARITO: "Pacquiao Will Beat Cotto"

Question: Cotto vs Pacquiao, who wins?

"Pacquiao. From the very first round the advantage would be Pacquiao.”
    -Antonio Margarito

“I think Pacquiao is a quick starter, and if I had to lean toward a fighter, I would say Pacquiao."
    - Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“Basically, I see Cotto busted up. I don’t think his face is gonna hold up through 12 rounds of the fight."
    - Bernard Hopkins

    “Pacquiao will win.”
    - Mike Tyson

"I believe that Pacquiao should put him on the canvas in five or six rounds."
    - Marquez's trainer Nacho Beristain

"Cotto keeps coming, this other kid Pacquiao, is so good, so slick. I think Pacquiao is the best fighter right now.”
    - Muhammad Ali's trainer Angelo Dundee

"All of these guys underestimate Pacquiao thinking he's the small man. When I met Pacquiao, I wasn't saying how does this guy make welterweight? I was saying how in the hell was he making 130 and 135? Pacquiao is a big dude."
    - Mosley's trainer Naazim Richardson

"We are going to knockout Cotto."
    - Freddie Roach

"That’s not even a question. Manny Pacquiao all the way. I love him.”
    - Kobe Bryant

cant believe even these guys with a great knowledge of boxing are drinking the pac man kool aid after the 2 wins over hatton and de la hoya. how quickly they forget marquez and how he took manny to hell and back in there 2 encounters at lw. manny is in for a beating come nov 14th and i cant wait to hear the excuses

I've probably been more surprised by Nacho's remarks more than any of the others. I wonder if he means Pac will put him on the canvas by rounds 5 or 6 for good as in lights out or just simply that he'll at the very least taste the canvas. Does he believe JMM has a stronger beard than cotto?

Kobe Bryant just met pacquiao in a Nike commercial. Both are sponsors by Nike.
Shane Mosley and his trainers are butthurt because they did not get the fight.
Nacho Berinstain is butthurt because he didn't get another fight with Pacquiao.
Floyd Mayweather rather fight Pacquiao than Cotto

Even you admit that these guys have a great deal of knowledge. But then you add that they are drinking the Pac kool aid because they think highly of him. How do we know that you just aren't being stubborn? I am not saying that you should be a Pac fan but it is obvious that you don't like the guy and it's clouding your judgement. Either that or maybe you're the one drinking the Cotto kool aid. See, it works the other way too. I'm not dissing bro, just commenting.

i like pac but i think he is being overrated by everyone due to the wins over hatton and hoya he is a good fighter but not against a real ww like cotto. i could be wrong but this is my personal opinion i just dont see pac being able to beat cotto in any way
