you know whats up mangler. My opinion is this is a flip flop of the Cotto Margarito fight to an extent(omit likely cheating). Pac will be in Cotto role trying to get off a lot , moving in and out side to side, but if he has to take shots to do so you will see him get more and more reluctant to do so. As he takes punishment he will slow down and Cotto will close the distance and start ****in. The question to me is can Pac take it and maintain enough offense to get a victory. The dark horse is Cotto's jab if he is effective from the outside with it and on the inside as many think gets the better of the exchanges than I see him battering Manny midpoint on maybe stopping him at some point.

Very simple like this, there is no way that Pacquiao can resist the pressure and the power of Miguel Cotto. Cotto will destroy Pacquiao in 6 rounds, then I want to see the experts talking garbage about what happened in the fight. Every time that Cotto fight people comes with different ideas about how they will beat Cotto, but at the end Cotto win.

Essentially what Roach is saying is that he's going to throw Paq right into Cotto and is relying on Paq's chin to hold up. It really isn't a bad strategy, however, what Roach didn't mention is that in all those fights, Cotto was winning in the early rounds and winning BIG. He was hitting his opponents with clean solid punches and if Paq comes in like that I'm not sure if paq's chin can hold up. Another problem I see is that Manny doesn't have the same pressure ability that Marg did so I'm not sure how effective that will be.

Roach brought up the DLH fight, I'm sorry but as good as Manny looked that night DLH looked just as bad if not worse. A jab alone would have kept Manny at bay, and in Roach's own words he said when he was training DLH for the Mayweather fight he said DLH did not know how to cut off the ring and just followed his opponent. That is NOT Cotto, he knows as good as anyone in boxing how to cut off the ring and keep his opponent from boxing. Manny does create angles but along with the ring control Cotto can counter-punch insanely well. Even when he was getting pounded on the Marg fight he was still landing shots at will, and while they didn't hurt Marg, Manny DOES NOT have that kind of chin.

Roach knows his fighter more than anyone, and he'll do what he thinks is best for Manny. But the problem is Manny has never been in with someone who can put that kind of pressure on Manny. Hatton was a bulldozer as Floyd Sr. said, and Manny completely demolished that, but Cotto is a pressure/boxer. He can put you on your heels and/or box with you if need be as he proved in the Mosley fight. I think if Manny comes out guns blazing Cotto needs to NOT worry about winning those rounds as he did with Marg and Clottey, instead he should just destroy Manny's body. He may get hit a lot but if he does nothing but focus on that body while Manny is coming full bore, he will fade against the damage Cotto's body punches do.

i think he's right about cotto getting tired,he did against tony and clottey, difference is those guys took cotto's best punches and kept coming at him...cotto is too big for manny and a solid shot by cotto will ko manny,if marquez kicked his ass all over the ring, don't see why a bigger man like cotto cant'...i just see cotto's size being the difference in this fight, not that he's better,he's just bigger...
