He cried that the fight was a robbery and he would never fight Williams again unless it was an in-house promotion by Bob Arum. That's not offering an immediate rematch. And he didn't offer Paul Williams no big payday like Williams did with him either. I was a bigger fan of Margarito during this time frame, but this is the very thing that caused me to turn my back on him.

They even went as far as petitioning the WBO to place margarito as pwill's mandatory forcing the immediate rematch to happen. The WBO approved it and listed margarito as pwills mandatory. What does pwill and goosen do? They ask the wbo for a voluntary defense and the wbo grants it and they go and fight quintana and lose the belt in their very first defense.
