    `The Myth`about Super-Sized Heavyweights

in todays era of boxing we read over and over again boxing fans opinion that todays fighters would be "To Big" for fighters of yester year, which is in fact a load of rubbish, we have always had super-sized heavyweights in this sport and they always `fell-short` because of their size and lack of ability.. Buddy Bear, Ernie Terrell, Primo Carnera, Gerry Cooney, Abe Simon, Jess Willard, Louis Firpo, Tony Tucker, Carl Williams and many more all matched up to The Klitschko`s and Lennox Lewis, all was beaten by fighters with superior boxing ability, Nicolay Valuev is considered a `Freak`yet he is the biggest super-sized heavyweight of all time.. Size means nothing,`its boxing ability that counts` in betting terms Valuev is a big outsider to defeat David Haye who is 10ins shorter in height and 80lbs lighter.. was Ernie Terrell to big for Muhammad Ali? was Primo Carnera or Abe Simon or Buddy Bear to big for Joe Louis? was Gerry Cooney to big for Michael Spinks? was Lennox Lewis to big for Oliver McCall? was Tony Tucker, Cal Williams or Mitch Green too big for Mike Tyson?.... Manny Pacquiao has moved up 8 weight divisions, was Oscar DeLa Hoya too big for him?.. Size means nothing its boxing ability that counts.

    Four things

Most "experts" today say that this division is the worst ever, or close to it.

Ernie Terrell, was 212 lbs, the exact same as Ali.

Pacquiao outweighed DLH in the ring.

    Paragraphs. Use em.

its been the worst since 1999 onwards which is why we have seen the emergence of the super-sized.. yet none of them was willing to fight James Toney

      Terrell stood 6ft.7ins

Pacquiao moved from light-flyweight his weight on the night was immaterial

You mean the guy who needed a gift to beat Fres Oquendo? Two straight losses to Sam Peter do not a title shot earn.

its not about James Toney losing to Sam Peter etc, its about James Toney`s boxing ability compaired to the Super-sized Heavyweights and their "running scared" of a very small guy like James Toney because he had the boxing ability to beat them but was denied the chance to prove it, even at 40yrs of age
