Pacquiao has done what people thought was the impossible and has come out on top and Cotto has faced more top competition at welter weight than any other...both these guys in my opinion are fighting for the mythical number 1 p4p spot.

Marquez...I have respect for the man but don't see why he is ranked so high by many since losing to Manny twice (it's in the books baby) winning a fight with Juan (who was dismantled by Nate Campbell), and beating an over the hill, over rated Casamayor who was beaten left and right by Jose Armando Santa Cruz...yeah someone that nobody knew before facing Casamayor...whatever

Manny is by far the choice for P4P after Calzaghe retired and Floyd hung them up and Manny is the man now and has the right to say this is for p4p status and Cotto has earned his shot at that stature as well.
