    Taylor vs Abraham

Hello everybody, I'm new here. I'd like to start my first thread about this. I couldn't be more pleased when I read that Jermain Bad Intentions Taylor is gonna fight King Arthur Abraham. What do you think, who will win? I think it's gonna be a tough fight for Taylor, but if he stays focused he should be able to take it. Abraham is more of a puncher and he's got a very good chin. I've seen him take a few beatings in the early rounds, both against Edison Miranda and Elvin Ayala and then turn the whole situation upside down by knocking them out cold.

One sidenote about Abraham; altho he is hailed as a star in the 160 division and is the nr.1 contender for the ring magazine title, he is somewhat unproven and untested still. He has fought mostly just European fighters and altho there are a few good middleweights there (I'm European myself btw), he still has to prove himself on the international scene. I am very excited to see how he will do against names like Taylor, Pavlik and Kessler.

As for Taylor, I am also interested to see how he will handle a puncher like Abraham. He didn't do so well against Froch and his stamina was also questionable in that fight.

    Welcome.

I think Taylor will outbox him for 6-8 rounds until Abraham catches him clean and wins by TKO.

Welcome to the Scene. While Taylor has the ability to win a decision and even stun Abraham, Arthur is the biggest puncher he has faced. I expect Taylor to be put to sleep sooner rather than later, say maybe between round 5 and 7.

Taylor would win a 8 round fight but unfortunately its 12 rounds. I think he has a slight chance of winning but I think he fights too tense and tires late.. Would be nice to see Taylor win but I highly doubt it

I am thinking the same thing. Do you think Taylor will retire if he loses? Losing four out of five last fights would certainly be too much for him. Unless he's the Glen Johnson type, which I doubt he is.
