is a limited fighter who cant fight anymore below 145 and dont fight at 154 can be called a top 5 p4p? if cotto fights a bigger man, he can get high p4p rankings, but fighting a midget will not get him that status.



mayweather already proves that he can fight in 130-154 so he will be higher in p4p to cotto and floyd will reclaim #1. pac will still be #2 and jmm #3. cotto would be #5 or #6. a giant Fighting a midget is not how you get high p4p rank.

I like Cotto, but he doesn't become the #1 P4P fighter if he wins. It's allot like the Hatton deal except Hatton has only lost to the very best. Cotto lost to Margarito(one dimentional) and Clottey.(basically lost to lazy ass)

Cotto is higher, Mayweather has been out. If Mayweather beats JMM and winner of Cotto vs Pacquiao, he is back at number 1.
