LOL... Khan may fight Maidana next...

A source out of Argentina is stating that a bout between newly crowned WBA super lightweight champion Amir Khan (21-1, 15 KOs) and WBA interim super light weight champion Marcos Maidana (26-1, 25 KOs) could be in the works for October in England. Both fighters are coming off of career best wins. Khan won the WBA super lightweight title by unanimous decision over Adreas Kotelnik last weekend while Maidana won his interim title by impressively stopping Victor Ortiz in 5 rounds last month.

If he does, he's gettin' sparked. He can't avoid bombs forever, and Maidana, from what I've seen has a **** ton of heart. But, I haven't watched the Kotelnik fight yet, so maybe I'm wrong.

Why is it a given that maidina would beat him?

Khan IS NOT the fighter that fought prescott anymore

Maidina is a HIGHLY limited fighter who is overrated because he destroyed american hype Ortiz, who is possibly the most overrated fighter of the last 10 years.

Maidina has pretty shocking chin himself and is wide open to be hit by anyone.
