    Catchweight v Guessweight

Although Pacquiao is not the first one, he is now perceived to be the one who started catchweight matches. Non-fans were so quick to criticize him with his dealings with the Cotto match regarding the weight issues.

The level and amount of negative comments this fight got and is getting is much much higher than what GBP, Mayweather, Marquez and others involved in the promotion of the Number One/Numero Uno fight this September is getting when they refused to divulge to the public the actual contracted weight for the fight.

That said, is the public more critical of Pacquiao than Mayweather? Who or which party is more liable to the public, as far as these 2 matches are concern, Top Rank or GBP? If pressed which of the lesser evil would you choose for a fight to push thru, Catchweight or Guessweight?

    Poll coming up.

Why is anyone who criticized the Pac catchweight a "non-fan"?

I guess you are right. I did not thought of that when I made the post. I am a fan too and I dont like catchweight, but 145 is ok for me.
