Chad Dawson has fire, speed and zip in is punches, something Ward lacks. He made Adamek respect his punches who has an iron chin and knocked down Tarver which isn't easy to do. Dawson has enough power to hurt opponents at LHW, Ward hasn't proven that yet.

Those fighters took tons of punches from Dawson and he couldnt stop neither of them.

green is a sore looser he almost got stop in his figth whit miranda and was at a catch weight in another figth on espn he got drop by a punching bag he talks like he desrves to be in the mix when he has been out of the limelight for a while

I agree on Green's points that the tournament isn't exactly the best six super middleweights in the world. but that said, all six deserve to be there ahead of him.

I like Green and wish he could secure better fights than what has materialized to date. But the closest he boasts to a notable win at the moment is Carlos DeLeon. He hasn't accomplished anything to date that hasn't been trumped by anyone else in the tournament.

Wonder if having some ESPN dates would work for him these days? hmmmm...

I know this...if anyone should be swapped out for Taylor, it sure as hell ain't Green. It's Bute.

good article, green can be a star, charismatic, someone needs to get him a fight!! People picking bute over him, bute is good, but i honestly need to see him off his soil (montreal), I want to see him in a different atmosphere, but no real diss to him. I honestly feel green will beat bute, and yes the guy lost to miranda, but really take a look at the fight(might still be on youtube) dude looked drained and lethargic at the weight. He is a student of the game, has a arsenal of punches, good movement, well conditioned(at the weight 168) and above all mentally tough and confident. it will take a joe calzaghe type to beat him (unworldly work rate in the ring) The comments about ward may hold some truth, but ward don't hit like no baby, dude keeps you honest in the ring. I observed dirrel kind of winded by the time of the stoppage, and oganov did take alot of punishment, but he was starting to come on and noticed how tired dirrel was getting, if he makes a mistake against cobra commander / froch will lay his ass out. Still a dirrel fan (olympian) but i pick the sport over any one boxer so i bet accordingly

Considering we've seen him hurt against average (at best) opp, I think it's a stretch to say it would take a Cal type. He gets an awful lot of mileage out of beating never was's.
