I agree with you and think froch will UD of TKO Direll in the late rounds.
It's just that I had Taylor as a big fav going into the froch fight and I never thought that Froch was anything special. Yet somehow he just wins even though everybody can see the flaws in his boxing.

I still think he is flawed, but I'm not going to underestimate him any longer!

I heard froch wasn't even ready before he fought taylor thats why he started off badly, but dirrell would get the real froch from the opening round

I thought he looked less than impressive against Pachall, having said that i do think he has a great shot at squeaking by Froch.
I was actually impressed by Dirrell against Hanshaw - very. And Hanshaw isn't too shabby a fighter - he should've won that ShowBox SMW tourney and he was an excellent amateur. That said, I still think Froch is gonna take Dirrell into deep waters and drown him.

I wasn't, i never saw the fight live but i watched it after id heard about people raving about it, and i did not know what all the fuss was about TBH. The best ive seen Dirrell was against Kolle.

He looked okay against Oganov but he looked like a small 168 lbs to me.

Yeah his speed is his power IMO. He's got so many skills but his heart and chin are two huge ifs. Froch will test both.

Apparently he was buzzed against Alfonso Rocha, i never saw the fight but i heard them say on one of the telecast to one of his fights, that he admitted he was fighting threw a fog against Alfonso Rocha.

I have my reservations about his defence myself, he looks open to me.

Dude, his defense is wide open. I thought he got a little buzzed against Hanshaw. Dirrell thinks he's Roy Jones but he's not. We'll see...

Based on styles alone, Dirrell should win. Hes faster and more skilled. But his inexperience will let him down imo. Froch will take him to places he's never been before.

If you have seen it to then it must be a valid criticism. I thought it was just me.

The more i think about it the more i start to favour Froch, but by the same token i wont be surprised to see Carl outboxed and lose a decision, it will prolly come down to whether Dirrell can withstand the late onslaught around about 8th round.

Either Dirrell falls apart late due to a lack of experience or he keeps his head and gets by Froch. How many times can Froch get outboxed and keep coming back to win is what i keep asking myself.
