Rocky Lockridge - Typical Retired Fighter?

    http://www.nj.com/sports/njsports/in...ocky_lock.html

I've been doing a lot of research and talking to retired fighters for a project I'm working towards, and this seems to be a typical story. Not to this extreme, but many fighters cannot support themselves financially. I guess it comes from the fact that they get right into boxing, and don't have any education to speak of, and there can only be so many trainers out there. At least the ones working on the loading docks are doing something, but these guys have no hope of getting any farther than that. They eventually drift back to where they started in life.

    Thoughts?

Thats really sad, but at the same times, they are to blame.

Look at Juan Diaz, going to law school and ****.

Is not like they dont have the time!!!!!!!!
