Floyd vs JMM will be another norwood vs jmm

from the article on the main page: "He has only been decisively beaten once in a 55 fight career and that was by Freddie Norwood in 1999"

i was thinking about this fight the other day. he had alot of trouble with norwood. marquez cant handle slick boxers. you can say that marquez is a really good technical fighter but he cant hang with those type of styles and norwood resembles mayweather's style, except mayweather has alot more behind it than norwood. you can say marquez has ring smarts but i guarantee you he wont be able to figure out floyd. all of the other styles bring out the best in marquez especially come forward styles like pac and diaz. marquez is going to look really bad even if it goes the distance. quote me on this.

    Marquez beat Norwood.

    he was robbed.

He won't let that happen again.

So it's save to say that Floyd would have problems with JMM like he had with Castillo?

So if JMM has probs with slick fighters then why was Gainer so frustrated in his fight against JMM? Have you ever even watched the Norwood fight? it was a close and sloppy fight. pbf is no gainer/norwood but jmm is no hatton or dlh who is going to try to bully pbf...which is what he's used to. Im marking your words as requested, but you better be on this site sept.20 giving props to jmm after he scores the 10th round TKO.

Marquez was in no way beaten decisively in that fight. it was marquez's first title fight and he looked tentative, but he deserved the decision. norwood did nothing but hug and run.

marquez beat norwood. i think i had it 8-4 with 1 knockdown each. of course cortez even missed 2 knockdowns marquez scored.
