has there ever been a fight in his career where he looked like he was on the decline? Has he ever not prepared for an opponent? Has he ever not show up to a fight?

Hell no! Training camp is one of their most serious things they do and they are very secretive about it too. This is what separates Floyd from the rest of the fighters. Floyd and Team build a fight plan and nothing is leaked, you can't really prepare for Floyd because he does not have the same game plan everytime. You can watch a Floyd fight and try and prepare yourself with it but on fight night, he will show you nothing of what you have come prepared for. The only thing we know for sure is potshot and running are two of his most common strategies as of late. The old light Mayweather Jr is another story.
