Devon Alexander and his trainer Kevin Cunningham have been together for 15 years. When they first met, Alexander was a 7-year-old kid in the second grade and Cunningham was still a St. Louis police officer. i think because of the fact that witter is slightly past it, this one is going to turn out to be a real good fight.Comment

I remember watching Devon as a kid. Is his brother still incarcerated? To me his brother was even better than him.
I think Devon will beat Witter though as well. The future of 140 is Alexander and Peterson IMO.Comment

Junior Witter is based in my home city, and trained under the Ingle stable who produced world-champions such as Prince Naseem Hamed and Johnny Nelson.
Witter is a solid fighter, although he looked off colour against Timothy Bradley. He has been repeatedly calling out Ricky Hatton for the last seven years. Witter is a very slick fighter with a powerful punch, although he was outboxed against Zab Judah and effectively against Bradley. I do think this is Witter's chance to shine, but then again, Devon Alexander is an unknown entity to british boxing fan's therefore it could make for an interesting match.
Does anyone have any more info on Alexander?Comment

devon alexander is a euro hating racist but anyway he is a good talent. the thing is though that if Witter wins he will get no credit what so ever from the americans, as usual when it comes to european fighters they never get respect from americans.Comment
