Bob Arum old Steve Kim that he wanted to "go out on a limb" with this undercard, as a way of redemption after the last two horrendous Pacquiao PPV undercards.
Unless we hear something BIG about the undercard in the next few weeks, expect to be disappointed.
Doesn't it make sense to put Pavlik-Mora on this undercard? HBO doesn't want to buy Pavlik-Mora, Pavlik-Williams isn't happening and he just doesn't have any other options at this point. Felix Sturm is another option that they could consider. Unless Pavlik decides to fight Winky Wright, he could fight either Mora or Felix Sturm on this undercard and it would be a great supporting bout that would really elevate this megafight PPV card.
Other ideas for the undercard include Juan Manuel Lopez & Edwin Valero in solid fights. Valero-Casamayor would be great.
