I'm not sure Direll is better than Taylor.
Taylor has faced Winky,Pav twice,Hop twice,Ouma,Spinks,Froch...and has only 3 losses(maybe only 2 in reality).

Direll has Taylor's profile,olympic medalist,speed,good power,correct skills,good height,hard to outbox...

We don't know if Direll'll not fade and can take an elite hitter punch...because I don't think he can avoid all the hard punches durin 12 rounds at this level like a B Hop master.

I feel bad for Andre Ward,from what I saw against a shot Miranda(still the dude undefeated at this time who get destroyed in 6 by Pavlik) I think Kessler 'll execute him.

The way to beat Froch is to either have excellent boxing skills along with stamina+heart or have the power to actually knock him out.

Fighters that are in between, who don't have huge power, only box good and just having OK stamina or less, run a serious risk of losing to this cat.

Froch has proven his grit. Dirrell better have a huge heart and stamina, because if he falters at either, he is going to lose. I give Froch a real shot against every fighter in this tourney.

Dirrell's heart and confidence are two huge question marks IMO. He has the gifts but is simply not ready. My guess is he's gonna have to hurt Froch and put him away or else Froch will take him into deep waters and drown him.

That is impossible to determine based on the limited opposition that Dirrell has faced. I mean could you seriously see him being beating or even being competitive with Hopkins 4 years ago? Yes, Taylor could've beaten Froch, but he didn't, did he? And Froch is a darn site better than anyone Dirrell has been in the ring with, though you can't say the obverse.
