  • Here's why i think Haye has done this.

Haye has done this so when he wins the WBA belt, he has stronger negotiating power for the Klits, i.e no silly 3 fight contract, can demand a fight in England and can also demand a bigger share of the purse. Wlad and Vitali always said they wanted him to prove himself, well here you go, he's fighting the next big title holder there is. It will also make the brothers have to chase him rather than him chase them.

he'll probably have to fight the WBA champion in waiting or whatever they are gonna call Ruiz, Valeuv or Chag after.
Is Valeuv the only WBA cahmpion at the minute, or does Wlad have a bit of it. Its too early in the morning for me to try and figure this out.

I think so to TS.......I wanted to see him fight the Klits but not with a slave contract like the one K2 was offering.......but I do think Don King will have a hand in Haye's pocket IF he beats Valuev......Don is a gangster with the paperwork

Plus he needs experience with how to handle big guys so he picked the biggest guy possible.

            ya know,

i wanna see Haye get pwnd about as bad as anyone can, BUT i will say... the thing i want to see most, and have been very vocal about is either Haye or Arreola go snatch that belt from the POS Valuev. I have been calling for this move for about a year now. and dammit, im happy its happening... if haye takes valuev's belt it will make him and the belt slightly more relevant...and it will give the K's a chance to take it also.... lord knows Team Valuev would never allow him to fight a K...

Yes, that`s a possibility. He probably doesn`t want to be controlled, and maybe he can fight with the crown in Las Vegas next.

Haye is going to look so good in this next fight. Honestly, this guy is tailor made for him. He will be able to claim to be the first guy to stop Valuev, a guy weighing 8 STONE more than him. He will look so impressive that I believe the Klitschko's will have no other viable option than to fight Haye.

Pretty much. Haye won't be able to 'demand' a fight anywhere, but I'm not sure he'd need to; Wlad was happy to fight in the UK but Haye couldn't deliver.

It's a fight where the nature of the result might be very significant. If Haye beats Valuev in pretty much the way Holyfield fought him, only busier (which is what I expect) he'll have more bargaining power, but if somehow he manages to KO the big guy, far more so.

No. If anything it's still unfinished business between Valuev and Chagaev, unless I've missed something.
