All the fuss over the ****** WBO belt. Who cares?

Seriously, this fight is much bigger than any alphabet belt. Will the fans care if it's for a belt or not? Will it effect the PPV buys? No.

So stop with all these threads, it's a pretty worthless belt anyways.

If Pacquiao wins, he can claim a 7th weight division belt. So freakin what? There are 987 weight classes these days and it will never be like the days of old, 8 weight classes. At the end of the day, it's all about the lineal titles anyways.

If cotto loses, so what? How many vacant belts has he had an opportunity to win? He'll get another. Cotto is NOT scared to lose his belt, so stop with the nonsense.

So it doesn't matter if the fight is for the WBO belt or a Snickers bar. In the end, this is a fight for us fans AND more importantly, it's a fight that everyone will be talking about (meaning the media), which is always good for our sport.

Stop bickering over ****** **** (belts, 2 pounds, etc. ) and be thankful that Cotto & Pac are giving us what should turn out to be a classic. This is exactly what boxing NEEDS right now, two warriors going at it.

I agree, it has become very hard to be a fan of both fighters with all of this nonsense. I want both fighters to win but, I can not have my cake and eat it too. Maybe if this is a great fight, maybe they fight again and just maybe they can renegotiate the belts. I want to see Manny win that 7th weight division belt, I really do but it's not like he couldn't just go beat up Berta and take his belt because he could beat up Berta in 3 rounds. But credit to both fighters for facing each other. May the best man win and this fight is much more intriguing that PBF vs JMM and the fact that this fight between PAC/MAC is still months away, it is all we are talking about and boat buyer threads are not an issue any more lol

I disagree. The snickers bar needs to be on the line.

The belt adds a lil more luster, but **** it. Pac just wants to prove himself at WW. The belt's a bonus but he don't need it.

No, Pac wanna prove himself at a non-existent weight (145). The welter limit is 147, Cotto isn't allowed to weigh that much, and the Pac ass wants Cotto's belt on the line. If Pac wins, do all the welters have to fight him at a catchweight? ****** ass midget. *** Pac.

Well, technically it is welter, but the limit is 147. Why does Cotto have to weigh in less than the limit? That makes it a catchweight fight. Fight the man at real welter, or just *** off.
