I cant beleive the hate this cat gets on here. I understand if you dont agree with some of his antics, I understand if you dont agree with how he fights, and I understand if you dont agree with who he fights, but if you never knew anything about boxing then you would think he was a bum with a record of 0-39, not the other way around.
I never thought Floyd could ever receive as much hate as he did at the time he retired. Then he was retired for 1 year and the hate actually got worst. Now he's been retired for 2, is coming back, and the hate is at an All Time high. Whats funny is everytime something happeneds to another fighter, Floyd gets ripped on even more. If a guy loses then Floyd gets ripped on bad on here. A guy like Cotto slips and Floyd is ripped on even more & more. A guy like Pac wins some big fights and it turns into Floyd again being ripped. I dont get it. Now you hear people talk about him on here like he isnt even good. Its crazy. Say bad things all you want but you have to aknowledge his skills.
I know one thing, you guys all need to take your foot off the pedal because you are definatly backing yourself into a corner that you cant get out of. You better hope that Floyd never fights Pac or Cotto and if he does then you better pray that he doesnt win because everyone will have to eat so much crow that it will be sickning. Its going to be crazy because he's going to go from hell to heaven. He will be ripped on so much but once he beats one of those guys then everything will totally change. All the media & the haterz will have to man up and admit that they were wrong. My guess is that I think he will fight Mosley before the Cotto-Pac winner but even if he does or doesnt, I know this. He will put on a showing against Cotto or Pac that will make people look foolish for ever doubting him and they will regret that they had one of the GOAT's to watch in there era and they never truly appreciated his skills. What will be even crazier is when its all over and people start actually saying, "you know what, his resume actually wasnt that bad at all and he actually did have alot of fights that werent boring at all".
Seriously though, I cant ever remember a fighter being hated on this much. I mean people act like they downright hate him and it drives them crazy. Like he makes there skin boil. Name 1 fighter who has been ripped on that much and really hasnt done anything wrong. Never been to prison, never drank, never smoked, trained harder than anyone, undefeated, 5 division Champ, won titles at a very young age, took tough fights while very young, and so on. Its unhreard of for a bum to get that much hate let alone someone like this
