Paul Malignaggi on BAD 12-4-04!

Paul Malignaggi, the leopard print trunk wearing Italian from Brooklyn, will be featured on the undercard of Taylor-Joppy on December 4 in his HBO debut. He will be facing Sandro Casamonica, an italian with a record of 34-4 (21 KO). Paul Malignaggi is a ****y righty with a good jab and movement, but with essentially little power. He can be hit, but has shown a good enough chin. He has a very brittle right hand that has been broken on several occasions. What kind of chances does he have of standing out in a talent rich division like 140? Is he as good as some are saying, or is he just alot of hype?

If anyone followed boxing in the late 80's, they'll remember Gamache as something different than the nice guy you got to know in the mid-late 90's.

He reminds of the loudmouth Italianos in South Philly who think they're hard, & use "The Godfather" as their guide to life, even though they aren't mobbed up.

You usually see these guys knocked out around 2:15 A.M., after a Kensington Irishman called his bluff.

I hate Malinaggi, he reminds me of Paul Spadafora, he will never get into the ring with a real 140er. Just like his cousin Spaddy...I need guys in the sport like Malinaggi, I love watching someone I hate get ****ed up! Malinnaggie is not worth an HBO date unless this guy he is fighting is legit, I am dissappointed about that.

You guys already know how I feel about him, but Im not going to disagree with any of you because he hasnt faught anyone, but I still thinks he has a littile Sweet Pea in him, but nobody but me is going to appreciate that style until you knock off the big boys

I'm a fan of Malinaggi, he's lighting quick and has very good skill. He's not even close to being as good as the top guys at the Junior Welterweight divison, but he's got the personality to sell and make plenty of money.

I fully agree with you, Malinaggi is a joke, he thinks he is the Italian Roy Jones...He has good hand speed and footwork, but his defense is garbage and he is just plain obnoxious...Unfortunately we will both have to wait atleast another year until we see him get knocked the **** out..

the kid is obnoxious and unoriginal, he's ego is going to be his down fall. he does,though, have good hand speed, but no power at all. all he does is fight b rated club fighters, seriously and he thinks he's the next greatest boxer to come along. once he steps up in competition, on a world class level, against someone who isnt past their prime, someone who is equal in skill, he is going to be devistated. i read that him and Dimitry Salita might get it on, there you go, his first loss by ko. Salita will crush him. i hope so....cause i really dislike PM, he has no class.
