Haye Agreed To Klitschko Deal, Then Vanished

After what appeared to be a done deal, boxing fans were stunned when David Haye announced on Wednesday that he declined a fight with Vitali Klitschko, and instead agreed to face WBA champion Nikolai Valuev. Klitschko-Haye was set down for September 12 in Frankfurt, Germany. The television deals were in place. A stadium that seats 55,000 fans was secured. Haye's date with Valuev is said to be November 7, in Germany. [details]

......The guy who was going to take over the heavyweight division is going one full year before he has his second fight. At this rate maybe he hopes to wait out the Klits. They have to eventually get old during his year long cancelations right?

Hell, what Haye is doing is ten times worse than what Juan Ma Lopez is doing with Caballero. Haye is talking all this big ****, but then tucks his ass in his bedroom when it's time to sign the deal. I don't think Juan Ma has said that he can beat Caballero even though he is ducking him. Haye is a joke. I don't even think he left the Cruserweight division being the best fighter. We've seen how much of a slug Enzo Macc is. I think Adamek would crush Haye.

This **** really isn't making Haye look good.

People will only accept this kind of **** for so long until they start to ignore you.

Dude shouldn't have talked **** then signed a contract he didn't like. I thought the terms were bull**** too. But I admired Haye's guts for basically takin 3 str8 fights wit the top 2 HW's. This **** looks bad, but he can pick up the pieces by fightin 1 of the K bros after Val.

So according to Finkel there weren't three options, only ONE. Since Haye has proven to have lied in the past, I'll take Shelly's word over his.

One or even two options is very standard when a voluntary opponent fights a world titleholder, while three is unreasonable.
