Larios injured, Guzman fight off!
By Karl Freitag
WBC super bantamweight champion Oscar Larios will not be facing WBO champ Joan Guzman as soon as planned. "He injured his bicep in the Wayne McCullough fight," promoter Oscar De La Hoya told *********.com. "He's going to get operated on and he'll be out for roughly three months maximum, then he'll be able to come back and defend his title. He's a kid who is one step away from participating in big events. He's willing to fight anybody. He's successfully defended his WBC title nine times and he's a kid that's going to grow possibly into a jr lightweight. He's a very exciting fighter, this guy goes out and gets the job done. He's kind of like a throwback to those Mexican fighters that we used to see at the Olympic Auditorium."
