Mayweather/Marquez or Cotto/Pacquiaio, who sells more PPVs?

Who sells more PPVs this fall? I know Mayweather is on the same night as UFC and that will be an excuse of his no doubt, but which fight sells more? I think even if the UFC fight wasn't on Sept. 19, it's Cotto/Pacquaio. JMO.

I think Cotto/Pacquaio will do better numbers than Pacquaio/Hatton, in America Cotto is a bigger boxer than Hatton. He did 500K against Margarito, with literally no promotion. No city tours, no nothing

Now he's going up against arguably the best fighter on the planet, with 24/7 access and a 3 city media circus.

This fight is huge, FMW is in for a rude awakening

Mayweather v Marquez has failed to capture the public's, and even the boxing community's imagination.

It'll do between 450k and 550k I reckon, both are established marquee names so it won't completely bomb

While Pacquiao and Cotto are both hot **** at the moment, and it's a nice, easy to promote fight considering the two fighters' styles. Should definitely do more than Mayweather v Marquez

It'll be a very big statement on Mayweather/Pacquiao/Cotto's respective drawing powers (or lack thereof) if Mayqeather v Marquez somehow gets higher numbers than Pac v Cotto

I agree Cotto/Pacquaio should and probably will do better. I'm curious to see though.

Mexican fighters have great followings and Floyd is still the man to beat IMO and is returning after 2 years.
