20 million people tune in to watch the weather forecast in Mexico. You know why? They only have a few television channels. Put on Mr. Rogers and I bet you gets at least 15 million viewers.

not to mention theyre probably fake....numbers .like when HBO said JMM-Barrera was watched by 30 milllion(yet the biggest official rating in recent boxing(2006-now) was below 24 points... )

but yeah youre right, mexicans watch anything they put on televisa, and UFC 100 was on there so....i dont doubt it did big numbers

It's only a matter of time till you guys see a bunch of Mexicans kicking ass in MMA. Fighting is in the mexican blood and that's why there is so many great Mexican boxers. Theres already a few Mexican mma fighters that are decent, just give it a couple of years!

ps. I'm not a fan of mma, but I love to see Mexicans kick ass.

Never. Mexicans are true warriors but boxing is their sport not mma, plus most Mexican fighters seem to be a lower weight classes and UFC only seems to show middleweight and up. I think Mexicans will stay true to their beloved boxing and not cross over into MMA. But lets say if they do, then yes they will kick some ass.

lol at us having all channels free......... dude mexico city is the place with more free channels probably and theres only 11(and only 5 are national channels).......and 60% of the people only watch one network(televisa, that has 3 national channels, 2 for novelas, news and crap entertainment(except boxing, but televisa dont have that many big fights, since toprank is with tvazteca and goldenboy is on HBOLatino) and 1 channel for kids(and wwe, some american series, and aparently UFC re-runs some days).....the reaso televisa is gunning for ufc is because theyre getting beat on the boxing ratings(by a network not all people like)...2 years ago they were saying MMA was barbaric
