Pacquiao won against Cotto, big time. I admit it, he ****ed him in the ass, real hard. Or i should say Team Pacquiao and Top Rank ****ed TEAM Cotto in the ass badly.

Don't worry payback is a biiiiiatch.

I don't get y ppl cares about the % they get for the fight. That's their problem. Just be happy that the fight will happen for sure.

i don't want to argue about ppv buys. just look it up on your own.

look up barrera , marquez , morales ppv buys without pacquiao.

            hell , pac-diaz (a tuneup) did better than casamayor-marquez i think.

if it's a good enough deal for the fighter , his fan boys need to just stfu.
            None.
Thats why I don't get why Packy is getting Oscar like shares against Cotto.

55-45 should have been a good split.

The current split overvalues Packy and undervalues Miguel.

Its ok though, Miguel will take his pound of flesh in the ring.

Cotto shoulve played hardball w/ this Gacal idiot like Hatton did.

Packy would've had nowhere else to go (he wasn't gonna fight Shane ever!) and he wouldve been forced to give Cotto a more appropriate amount of money.

Without Cotto Packy would've been on the shelf for the rest of the year.

Cotto's team jumped the gun on this one.

If Mannys full sparring sessions was put on PPV, it would generate alot more than what cotto is gonna make on this fight.

dude , oscar like shares are worst.

it's not just the value of both fighters.

it's what they are bringing to the table.

what does pac bring to the table for miguel? a high profile superfight , mainstream name recognition.

miguel doesn't bring as much to the table. some say he's not even putting his belt on the line.

think of it this way. if pac beats cotto......how much more will it effect his money potential and name recognition?

now if cotto beats pac......he could demand more money , he'll be more known , his status will grow higher.

cotto is taking this fight because it'll make him a lot of money......but the goal is to beat pacquiao and that'll set him up for even MORE money down the road.

people need to think ahead. if he doesn't take this fight , what are cotto's options? mosley , clottey , williams? good money but not as good as the 35% in this fight.

if he wins it sets him up for an even bigger money fight with floyd.

i dont get all the whining, some of you guys must like to cry and *****...

seems to me that cotto and mosely were the ones pursuing a pacman, so they agreed to his terms...

no big deal, the fights on, be happy... they will both make plenty of $$$$
