Cotto to Retire after his new deal with TR Expires

With the extension of contract signing for two years with Top Rank, the Puerto Rican world champion Miguel Cotto not only assure that may become the most lucrative fight of his career, but also a happy retirement.

Because Cotto said yesterday that the two years agreed to extend the relationship with his promoter Bob Arum will be the last of his career.

"Everything was for the better. There are better things in many ways, and so we decided to give forth to the fight (against Manny Pacquiao on November 14) and extension of contract, "said Cotto, who did not specify how much money he says the new contract as bag minimum in every fight, but said it is better than the guarantee of $ 3 million of his currect contract. The signing of the extension will happen soon as he said.

"As in any relationship, we had differences, but we have always resolved. We were treated well in the space of nine years. Fidelity has been given the proper treatment of them to us (Top Rank) and them to us, "he said.

In that sense, Cotto said that the economic factor, but also good business relationship with Arum, made him not want to venture with another company.

"There was no competition as such. Never talked to anyone else. There were comments from other companies, but we were always clear that Top Rank was the one who was there. And they gave us the fight we wanted, "he said.

The real reason why he is retiring within 2 years is that he cannot make 147 limit in 2 years time. But the problem start at 154, where Paul Williams awaits for the Little Rican princess.

Simply in hindsight Cotto is retiring because of Paul Williams

He should go win or lose

                    1. Mayweather(Wont happend, Floyd doesnt have the cojones to face Cotto)

                    2. Margarito rematch

                    3. Berto(To have a rather easier fight)

                    4.Williams(If he still relevant)

5.Move up to 154 and grab a belt(Doesnt matter against who)

6.If he wins a belt at 154, then move to 160 and try to grab another belt

                    7. Retire in peace
