    This is probably honestly the most telling and accurate depiction of the boxing world. Which is surprising as it is a comedy.

        I quite enjoyed Hurricane carter as well...
        Low key but good film..

          Raging Bull is quite accurate because the fights and DeNiro's LaMotta are comparable to the real life versions. LaMotta however was not a big puncher but they did pick the fights in which LaMotta knocked his opposition out.

          LaMotta in reality was an even worse human being than he was portrayed in the movie (hard to believe).

          The Hurricane Carter movie included a couple of myths, such as Carter being robbed for the title and being a top contender at the time he was arrested. In reality he lost the Giardello fight fairly decisively and was on the decline as a boxer at the time he was jailed.
