Andre Dirrell: " Carl Froch Will Be My Easiest Fight"
Collapse
-
I had only seen brief clips of Froch prior to the Taylor fight and he looked descent but after the Taylor fight I thought less of him, funny enough..I know. His skills don't impress me in the least but he is a physically and mentally tough guy and we haven't really seen Dirrell tested and for some reason he comes across like the type of guy that might not be able to handle adversity too well but I could be wrong. We'll see what happens.

The thing is Froch makes his supporters feel incredibly nervous with the way he fights and he gets hit many times but he is not a naive fighter, nor is he completely tactically unaware, it's just he has utter faith in his ability to beat the fighter he is facing and his last two opponents were of a very high calibre.
Froch will be fancied by many to be exposed in each next fight he faces but he definitely has the artillery to make a mockery of such predictions.
At the end of the day, Froch is smart in that he knows what it takes to beat great boxers over twelve rounds and is supremely conditioned and put simply, is a hard bastard.

I think Dirrell will school Froch. He won't make the mistakes Taylor made or run out of gas like Taylor always does.....I see him winning a decision thats not really close at all.....But Froch always has a punchers chance.

Bad timing for such a fight. Why most likely face and risk losing to Bute, a proven top SMW, when your in the middle of a tourney which regardless will do you good.
Secondly, thinking Dirrell is likely to have to delay their fight is pushing it, they're getting a tad over excited.
What happens if Abraham loses to Bute, would he still face Dirrell, and continue in the tourney the same?
Would negatively effect the tourney's legitimacy imo, people would be asking even more, what's the point in a tourney when one of them lost to a better guy whom isn't in it.
