Erik Morales, A return to the Beginning.

On a note from Mexican Sergio Abarca published today by Notimex, Erik "Terrible" Morales said the fact that Manny Pacquiao is a southpaw would be in his favor to obtain victory on March 19th in Las Vegas.

"In my Career i have faced many southpaws and i have beat them all. My best punch is with my right hand and that usually makes fights easier for me against southpaws. Pacquiao is dangerous because of his speed, but my higher strength will be the deciding factor," Morales told Notimex.

Morales trains without setbacks and commented that his work team size has diminished in size compared to the team he used in his last fight against Barrera. "It will be like at the beginning of my career, only my father, trainer Fernando Fernandez, and my brother Diego. For this fight against pacquiao i will return to my beginnings with a reduced team. That's how i started and thats how i will finish my career," said Morales.

what erik needs to do in this fight is not come to the ring weighing 144lb. i don't think he trained all that hard for mab, took the weight off late by starving and dehydration, and then put alot of it back on by fight time. he needs to take the weight off gradually so he don't ballon after the weigh in, cos all that did was slow him down. if he does it right, the fight will take care of itself.
