You guys are sleeping on Chop

Ive talked to dude and he's a good guy who is very focused. The guy lost to Floyd (Who is at the top of the #4#) and Zab (Who is the undisputed welterweight champion of the world). Give him a break. How many guys wouldve beat them? Chop was a champ who lost to 2 of the best. Cotto wouldnt have beaten either fighter. I hear everyone saying that he has no chance and Cotto will KO him. This guy has been in fights with Floyd and Zab. Who has Cotto been in with? This guy has sparred with the 160 pound Joppy and was a sparring partner for Zoo and Mayorga. Cotto's power will not KO him just like Zab and Baily couldnt. Cotto doesnt hit harder then Zoo or Mayorga. Chop has never been KO just like N'Dou hasnt and Cotto couldnt stop him. This will be a very tough fight for Cotto and might be a upset. The only thing that makes me back down a littile is that the fight is in Puerto Rico which at the end may backfire on Cotto. This also tells me that Cotto's people know this is a dangerous fight, thats why it's in PR. Chop is a lefty who will surprise Cotto and alot of other people with his skills. He can box and fight. He also had a great amature career and was a 140 champ. Stop hating on him because he lost to 2 guys that most everyone would lose to

Cotto is very tight defensivly and altough i dont think he hits harder than Zoo he has real good power and works the body crazy style. Cotto will knock him out you will see.

I have to agree with DLT in that this isn't going to be an easy fight for Cotto. I think the longer the fight lasts, the better chance Chop Chop has to pull off the upset. Cotto's a good body puncher so Chop Chop gonna have to neutralize that by countering to the head & discourage him from from hitting to the body.

Aww c'mon people. It's not a secret that Cotto is not only going to beat Chop, but it's how he does it that people are looking at. Will he be the first to stop the cross-dressing lefty? Chop is little more than a stepping stone for the elite in the 140 lb division now. I hope he has one more good fight in him and make this a competitive bout.

Who has chop beat that has a name though? No one thats who. Sorry man but its the truth. Yes he lost to 2 guys that are top fighters but he never beat any top or close to top fighters himself to say he has ever proven to be a real force.

he was a WBO title holder, he was never a champ. still a tough fight for cotto, but he'll wear down corley and stop him late i think. cotto stalks his opponents and is very accurate with his punches, he does'nt miss alot, which means he does'nt waste energy so he remains strong throughout the fight. just because he don't hit as hard as tszyu does'nt mean he can't hit, especially to the body. i admit earlier on in his career i thought he was over-rated, but not now. i think he'll be a great fighter in the future.

                    DLT......

I hope you will give Cotto credit when he disposes of Corley.
I don't want to see you dissing him for losing to Cotto, but loving him for losing to Floyd.

I'm not that high on Cotto yet....but I do think he'll KO Chop.
