Yes, Kobe has always been a fan and friend of Pacquiao since Pac invited (with free tickets) Kobe and his NBA Teammates to his dug-out (right after the David Diaz fight). Since then, they have been buddies in spite of the size difference, and they even had a jolly time when the NBA Dream Team met with Pac at the recent Olympics in China.

Bryant vows to see Pacman's next fight

MANILA, Philippines –(UPDATE) Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant expressed admiration and respect for Manny Pacquiao and vowed to support the local boxing icon in his next fight.
Bryant and Pacquiao appear together in an upcoming commercial for Nike and are part of its stable of superstar endorsers.
"I love him," Bryant said when asked about Pacquiao in a press briefing. "I enjoy being with people that are as competitive. You can tell that just by watching him."
"Next fight, I will be there," he said. "I’ve never seen him fight live but if we have no game in his next match, I’ll be watching."
Pacquiao will fight Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto this November at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
