Philippine politics will inevitably tarnish his reputation. Corruption scandals abound in political arenas in the Philippines, and if Pacquiao presses forth with his political aspirations, he will likely become involved in some sort of scandal that will ruin his clean image.
Are you ******ed or what? Whats make you think he's not capable of doing whats good for his people? Looking down on people who have lower education than you doesn't make you better than him, earning higher than him or greater than him. For your information, You just a lowly maggot if you compare yourself to him.

I hate people using his education and think he is superior than the other. Idiot!

I bet Arum is already looking for Kotelnik of the LMW Division so that after JCC Jr is given a belt then he can push for Pacquiao vs Chavez Jr straight after Pac vs Cotto so that he doesn't have to deal with Mayweather/Hayman. I'm betting on Cotto ruining everyones plans in November. Then that will show Pac isn't a WW and if Mayweather or Mosley still want him them they'll have to go down to 140, although he'll prob want them to come down to 137.5.

You're just to hung up on what Pac did to Hatton to believe anyone can beat Pac. Hatton is nowhere near the fighter Cotto is and Cotto would have probablydestroyed Hatton even worse than Pac did if given the chance.

I was actually thinking more of what he did to ODLH.

People will come with the weight-drained stuff til the cows come home, but it doesn't affect speed and Oscar just couldn't land. I don't see it being much different with Cotto.

Too small, too quick, too elusive.

Pac's confirmed he's running for congressman.

Let him run. If he wins, he can't stand the leeches in congress. And sooner than expected, he'll be back in the ring.

If he loses, so much better so he can vent his ire on his opponent. Hell it could even be Klitschko!

Manny reportedly loss P140 million pesos from the last election. If he didn't learn his lesson from that, he'll go broke quite easily. Now granted that's only $3 million in dollars, but that's more than enough. I don't blame for wanting to help his/our people, but being a politician in the Philippines is not the best way to do it. It's too corrupted and he might end up being corrupted as well.
