People should definitely stop starting threads like this. No matter who the boxer is. We should show more respect for boxers in general. This forum is for us to discuss boxing. Not to slander boxers. Like one member said here, this kind of stuff doesn't need to be posted. But some people just gotta jump on the bandwagon. We only tarnish our reputations by feeding into the negativity.

I can now say the same for you, and looking at many of your posts, i can also say you could take your own advice in your sig=“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” but i leave you alone.

I already said i did. A portuguese family with old fashioned family values and a sense of preservation of culture. Cotto just won that fight. Maybe a fighter gets a bit excited when that happens? Is that not a reason for great jubalation and celebration?

Seems to me fighters don't get the respect they deserve. I give credit to anybody that gets in the ring to fight another. This is the problem that goes along with fame of any kind. Look at how movie stars and politicians are scrutinized by the public. The poperozi(sp) jumps all over them. Look what happens at a car accident. Why do most people slow down to see the mess?

People get enthralled by violence. Life is violent. We love it. We get off on it. Hell, even sex can be viewed as an act of violence, and i don't mean ****. Just very passionate, kinky ****...lol.

I don't claim to be wearing any halo's, and i know I'm far from perfect, but seems to me mankind in general could use a little more understanding, tolerence, acceptance and respect. The world would be a better place for it.

Agreed, and maybe another reason for the kiss. Didn't mean to offend you, during my defense of myself and my reason for posting what i did. It just seemed unlike Pullcounter, as i consider him above that. So i reacted when i shouldn't have.
