We're talking about Pound for Pound fool...
If both guys were in the SAME weightclass...Comment

Actually, Duran started at 118.
Just something interesting here: Find another fighter that beat a champion as good as Ernesto Marcel in 1970 at 18 years old at super featherweight and then another champion as good as Jorge Castro in 1997 at 47 years of age at super middleweight. Find anyone in the history of boxing that has done something like that.
Oh, and please don't compare the 30 year old Duran moving up and beating a prime, undefeated, much bigger 25 year old champion in Leonard who had himself just beaten an ATG in Benitez to Pac moving up and beating an older, slower, already knocked out Hatton who Pac is actually bigger than. Not even close.Comment

Some things are possible but in all serious, and I realise you like Pac a lot and all that, but he just would not have any chance against Leonard. He cannot knock him out, cannot out-fight him and certainly can't outbox him. He just could never win that particular fight. Ever.Comment

I'm guessing you mean the same size. You can put almost any two guys in the same weight class, doesn't mean anything, one might be drained half to death. Personally I think Leonard was a better fighter than Pac, but what hurts him is the length of his career, and the time taken off in the middle for injuries. Pac isn't done yet, it's very possible that he might end up with a greater career than Leonard.Comment
