and once more im not saying that calzaghe is great or anything, he is probably a step below the guys like roy joens and b-hop BUT you americans seem to think he just some euro-bum. which is not true. man im a LENNOX LEWIS fan not calzaghe fan.
I'm a Lewis fan too. And stop generalizing about americans. I'm sure there are American idiots who think the way you make em out to be but they're on the extreme.Just like you are on the extreme. T

he vast majority of americans just want to see great fighters with great skill that's pleasing to watch.

American's have lived through Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Leonard, Robinson, Duran, Chavez, Whitaker etc,. You have to live up to those standards to get respect around here and Joe didn't do it.

Enzo is turning very bitter these days, does he have any fighters left in stable these days? I heard Calzage promotions is not exactly 'big time' either from sounds of it

yep im not disputong what you said, calzaghe aint on the same level like those you mentioned. but Lennox Lewis was. im not saying LL was the greatest of all time but he is up there with those you mentioned. yet he gets next to no respect from americans. offcourse there are exceptions but the vast majority of americans will never respect lewis.

Americans HATE europe and britain.

americans love it when they have two american fighters fighting each other because then they know that it dont matter who wins they'll be american anyway, thats why all-american fights gets about 10 times bigger by default than an american versus a non-american. thats also why they love the nfl so much, because its all american. in every singel super bowl all they do is wank off to their fellow americans, and spout out ultra-nationalistic bull****.

Americans HATE europe as much as the ****s hated the ***s and as much as ku klux klan hate black people. it is what it is.
It's not just europeans it's anyone thats not American. Meanwhile in Europe and other countries around the world fighters and fans have alot of respect for American fighters. So much so that they try to emulate them. Anytime you ever see a European fighter in and interview and they ask him who is idol was as a child and they always respond with Ali or Tyson or Marciano. The majority of Americans have no respect plain and simple.

He's only stating the obvouis and telling it how it is... i dont see a problem with it, of course it's true americans think they are far superior then anyone else hence why only a small % leave 'america' because it's apparently 'great' and all that. Nothing against them but have to agree with the man.

If there are american boxng fans out there who are denying Lewis his place in All-time heavyweight history, then you're right. But I don't see too many of them denying that Lewis was the best of his generation and is a Top 10-15 all time heavyweight.

They don't have to love him like they did Tyson in the 90's or Ali in the 70's to respect him.
